Ingredients:
1 can black-eyed peas, drained
1 small onion, chopped
1 small red pepper, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 small red pepper, chopped
1 can spinach, drained
1 small stalk celery, chopped
2 Tbsp minced jar garlic1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder - 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
1 Tbsp dried cilantro
- 1 Tbsp ground Flaxseed
- 2 Tbsp Arrowroot Powder
- 1 cup Quaker old fashioned oats
Directions:
In a bowl, mash the beans until desired texture. I keep a lot of the beans whole. Mix in all the rest of the ingredients.
Place in fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Form into patties and cook. I cook them on my Cuisinart 5-in-1 Griddler for about 20 minutes. If you want to bake them in the oven, bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes.
