Make this the day before you plan on eating it so the flavors have time to "mellow".
Ingredients: 1 can pinto beans (drained and rinsed) 2 to 4 Tbsp water or liquid from beans, or more until desired consistency (I actually use all the bean liquid) 1 Tbsp minced jar garlic 1 tsp lemon juice 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp curry powder 1/2 tsp ground turmeric 1/2 tsp ground ginger 3 large medjool dates 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
Directions: Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until desired consistency. Add water or liquid from beans, if needed to thin.
