Toffee Peanut Butter Crunch Bars

This recipe was adapted from Katie's BetterFinger Bars .  These have the chewy texture of toffee with the crunch from the corn flakes.

Ingredients:
1 Tbsp molasses
2 cups corn flake cereal, crushed
--------
1 cup peanut butter
--------
1 cup chopped dates
3 Tbsp almond milk

Directions:
Blend dates and almond milk in blender until smooth.

Melt the peanut butter in the microwave.

Then combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix together.
Press into an 8x8 pan and store in fridge.

My favorite food processor is the KitchenAid  7-Cup Food Processor

For blenders, I use both the  Vitamix Blender and Ninja Master Prep Professional Blender

  1. These sound incredible! You really cannot go wrong with peanut butter and molasses - I love both ingredients in recipes. And the dates and almond milk - I won't feel so guilty eating one too many of these. I love using dates!

Hey Sally !!! THANKS for leaving a comment. I REALLY appreciate it !!! YES, you are right.... the combo of peanut butter and molasses is REALLY REALLY good. I also like using dates in baked goods....they are a good sweetener as well as being sticky to help hold things together !!! THANKS again.....Denise
